Mi Band 4 vs Honor Band 5

Mi Band 4 vs Honor Band 5

Features: Both of these smart bands have the standard set of features you would expect on a fitness tracker, so they both feature a wide variety of spa activities, your sleeping patterns, as well as your heart rate. But what differentiates these devices to each other, is that the Honor band 5 is also able to detect spo2 levels, which is the amount of oxygen in your blood.

And to be honest, I’m not sure how important this feature is, and if most people actually use it. But I guess there are some of you out there who need to know the amount of oxygen in your blood. If you’re one of them, then this feature is for you.

Another difference between both these smart bands is that the Mi band 4 comes with music controls, so you can control stuff like play, pause, next, previous, and even volume. This is something that the Honor band 5 doesn’t have. But the issue with music controls on the Mi band 4 is that it is leggy, and the buttons here are so small making it difficult to use. But I guess it does work and it’s better than not having it at all.

Talking about the user interface on both of these smart bands. I think that they both look great, but the font on the honor band 5 is noticeably bigger and makes it so much easier to identify and read. This makes using the honor Band 5 really more user friendly. Although, I prefer the icons on the Mi band 4 the honor band 5 is just easier to see and read.

Last but not least: The battery life on both has more than two weeks on a single charge. I will say that at this point, they’re both very similar and it really depends on how much notifications you receive a day. But generally, battery life isn’t something you should be worried about here.

The bottom line of both the Mi band 4 and Honor band 5 are great budget fitness trackers considering what you’ll get for this affordable price. You only need not more than about 25 to 27 US dollars, and you’ll have access to a lot of features that you would expect from more expensive fitness trackers.

However, if you have to choose one over the other, what would you choose? For me, the difference between both these smart bands are really down to whether you prefer the appearance or function. If you prefer something that looks nicer, the Mi band 4 is the one that you should go for. Because, it comes with this great design nicer icons, and it just looks much more stylish.

Overall, however, little things like bigger fonts on the honor band 5, a display that doesn’t go off too quickly, and the rise too late detection, there is just more accurate of functions I really appreciate. And because of this, I’ll have to go with the honor band 5. Anyways that’s it for this comparison let me know what you think in the comments below.
