I’ve never been able to make good homemade biscuits until today. I made these Kentucky Biscuits and went by the recipe but used 1/4 cup of butter in place of the shortening. They were awesome!! They were light and flaky and looked amazing. All my family loved them. I will make these again most defiantly.

) Mix dry ingredients.
) Cut in butter, add milk and knead into soft dough. Do not over-knead!
) Pat into an ungreased 6×6 pan. I use a pie pan myself so you can use whatever.
) Cut into serving-size portions before you cook.
) Bake at 400′ for 15 to 20 minutes or until done and golden brown.
