With several updates, most of the bugs and battery life issues have been resolved. The phone’s distinctive design may not be for everyone, but it offers a refreshing change from the typical mid-range options.
Not only can you manage to use the phone for a full day on a single charge, but it also offers support for wireless charging, which is a rare feature at this price point. The OLED screen is a delight, and the stereo speaker setup is decent, like most of its rivals. Additionally, this phone is swift enough to handle any game, including high-impact ones.
If you’re looking for an Android phone that resembles an iPhone, the Nothing Phone 1 is the closest you’ll get. It has a chunky, flat-edged frame and a streamlined camera setup that excludes any unnecessary features like macro mode.
The camera is good enough to take great pictures and videos, even in challenging conditions. However, in low light, the camera struggles a bit, and the Pixel 6 outperforms it.

The Motorola Edge 13 Neo is a new mid-range smartphone that comes with a stock Android Vibe. It is the most economical option among the latest Edge models released by Motorola. The phone is available in special colors curated by Panton, a new partner of Motorola, including a dazzling sparkling variant.
On the flip side, the device features a stunning 120Hz pure LED display. While the Neo offers more basic performance compared to its siblings, it still packs enough power to handle the latest games, albeit on lower graphic settings, with a Snapdragon 695 chipset at its core.
When it comes to memory-intensive games like Genshin Impact, the Motorola Edge 13 Neo still manages to perform well with its 4000mAh capacity battery, albeit slightly smaller than some competitors. This is helped by the phone’s more energy-efficient platform.
Additionally, the device offers 68-watt wide charging and full wireless charging support, making it easy to keep your phone charged throughout the day. However, if photography is your top priority, the phone’s 64-megapixel primary camera sensor may not be the best option, as some of its higher-priced rivals, such as the Pixel 6, offer better camera performance. In that case, it might be worth considering a phone from Google instead.
Based on my understanding, Motorola may not be as reliable as Google and some of its competitors when it comes to providing software updates. Therefore, if timely and frequent software updates are important to you, it might be worth considering other brands.
