this is basically a user review, so it’s unbiased, and user friendly. and the most important is very helpful for you, as an extra info over what we have already mentioned here on our review.
This tracker is the best $30 I’ve spent in a long time. It does everything it says it’ll do and does it perfectly. My steps seems pretty on, maybe slightly less, but definitely not waking up with 400+ steps like the 2 previous fitbits I bought. The vibration for text, calls and get up and move notifications is strong enough that I never miss them. Fitbits were so weak I missed them.

It synced right up and the mi fit app is basic but intuitive. I have purchased 2 different fitbits prior to this. The Blaze and Charge 2, and have an LG V20 phone. My phone is not on the approved fitbit compatibility list. The most recent LG phone listed as compatible was the V10. There were 100’s of requests on fitbit forums to update the LG list starting back in 2014, all with generic answers like we’re listening, stay tuned. So I took my chances and bought the Blaze.

I actually got the notifications (text and calls) to work for 1 day. I was excited until they never worked again. I tried every fix I could find, and they are numerous. Never was able to get them to work steadily, so returned it. Now onto the Blaze 2. Since this is not considered a smart watch, I figured I’d just use it for sleep tracking, steps and get up and move notifications.

The first thing I noticed was how off the step count was. I’d wake up in the morning with 400 steps already logged. I’d walk 60 steps and, it would log 180. So again I turn to forums all showing “Solved” included in their headline. Fitbits fix to the step counting was to delete and reinstall the app, turn off and on bluetooth, tell it you were left hand dominant and wear it on the oposite hand, rub your head and pat your belly, put your right foot in and shake it all about.

You get my drift. Again hundreds of supposedly solved fixes. I searched best fitbit alternatives and found this beauty. Good reviews and gave it a try. This is a genuine US model, instructions in English, authentic packaging. There were some reviews saying this was a fake. I watched many videos on how to spot the fakes, and this is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and ditch the $150 fitbits and buy this. You will not be disappointed. There are band replacement options including 11 colors for under $20. I’m tickled with this basic little fitness tracker. here is the original review
