HOW TO MAKE BEEF AND SHRIMP RAMEN

How to make Shrimp and beef ramen, First of all Ramen comes from the Chinese words (La Mian) which means hand pulled noodles. This is one of my favorite recipes is absolutely delicious. The beef comes out super tender and takes only a few minutes to come up to the serving table! This recipe will be a hit and a favorite for you and your family.

Start by cutting your beef steak into strips. Give the steak a quick sear in the skillet and then add the sauce. Hot sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, and some brown sugar. Let the sauce simmer while the ramen noodles cook. Toss the ramen noodles and the steak together and serve.

HOW TO MAKE SHRIMP AND BEEF RAMEN

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb beef steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 pound (220g) medium/large raw shrimp (thawed, cleaned, and peeled)
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • ½ cup hot sauce*
  • 2  Tbls of soy sauce.
  • 1 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 (3-oz) packages ramen noodles, any flavor
  • green onions, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 ) Open ramen noodles and discard flavor packets. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2 ) While noodles are cooking heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add your stripped beef, shrimp and cook until starting to brown.

3 ) Add hot sauce, Tbls of soy sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, and brown sugar to skillet. Stir. Reduce heat simmer for 5 minutes.

4 ) Add cooked noodles to skillet and toss to coat. Sprinkle with green onions.

Can use any cut of steak you prefer.

If you prefer your steak or shrimp rare, remove it from the skillet before adding the sauce ingredients. Add them back to the skillet with the noodles.

Increase or reduce the hot sauce to your personal preference. Add soy sauce in place of reduced hot sauce.
